BABUSANTA BEACH RESORT

One of the tropical paradises aside from Dayang Beach Resort is the Babu Santa Beach Resort in Talicud Island.  It was named after a woman (Babu) who was as merry as Santa Claus but the ambiance of the place is contradictory from the term “merry”.
The resort is extremely perfect for individuals who want to feel the quintessence of nature. Babu Santa preserved the exquisiteness of the scenery by not altering the place to a modernized resort. The rooms and cottages were designed minimally. The surrounding are all natural, no landscape but you’ll have clean beach, fine white sand and wide vicinity for outdoor fun.

If you want to experience the harmony of the place, catch any of these 5 boats (Pacific Boat, Jessa Boat, Shirly Boat, Gracee Boat, and Hof Gorei Boat) from Sta. Ana wharf Davao City from 10am to 3pm going to Talicud Island for a convenient trip. But if you want adventure, you may take barge from Sasa Davao City to Samal, disembark from the barge will be short drive from Penaplata warehouse to Kaputian, then a boat ride going to Talicud for P10.00 only, and finally, a few minute motorcycle ride from Talicud proper going to Babu Santa Beach Resort will be an added fun to your journey.

Upon reaching the place, you may encounter some problems like limited electricity and water. Best advice to bring sufficient amount of potable water, a fully charge/spare battery for your gadgets, a lamp if you’re planning to stay overnight (or have fun and make a bonfire).  For those who want to bring kids, their safety should be the guardian’s priority. Don’t leave your kids unattended there is no available lifeguard at the area.
